A solicitor is a legal practitioner who usually deals with most of the legal matters in some fields. A solicitor must have legally stated qualification to names as a solicitor and allowed to practice. This qualification varied based on fields. For example, in England and Wales, a solicitor is admitted to practice under the provisions of the Solicitors Act 1974. With some exceptions, practicing solicitors must have a practicing certificate.
